Employees may choose from a variety of 403(b), mutual fund and 457(b) companies to invest money on a voluntary pre-taxed basis offered as a payroll deduction. Contact one of the vendors listed below for more information.

Please contact HR for your username and password. After hours and when the college is closed, please contact the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­PD at 352-395-5519 for the username and password.

Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ offers the Health Advocate Employee Assistance Program to current, non-student employees and their immediate family members living in the employee's household. This program is a free service that is separate from your health insurance and available 24/7/365. The EAP is also a confidential service, no information, including your name, is released without your written permission. Your employer will not know if you use this program.

You will receive a range of services to help with everyday stress and challenges. Many employees contact the EAP for help with:

  • Depression, grief, loss, and emotional well-being
  • Family, marital and other relationship issues
  • Life improvement and goal-setting
  • Addictions such as alcohol and drug abuse
  • Stress or anxiety with work or family
  • Financial and legal concerns
  • Identity theft resolution
  • Online will preparation and other legal documents

The FMLA entitles eligible employees of covered employers to take unpaid, job-protected leave for specified family and medical reasons with continuation of group health insurance coverage under the same terms and conditions as if the employee had not taken leave.

Sick Leave Pool

Full-time employees can opt to join the sick leave pool at Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­. The sick leave pool can help protect an employee from loss of income due to a catastrophic illness, disability, or injury.

Eligibility of Membership

Participation in the sick leave pool is voluntary. To enroll you must be a full-time employee of the college, have at least one year of full-time service to the college, and have an accrued sick-leave balance of at least six days.
