Research in Undergraduate Education
Welcome to RUE
Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» defines research as creativity-, discovery-, or inquiry-based learning that leads students to new scholarly insights or the creation of new artistic work, which is then effectively communicated back to their community.
Research can be both/either: Curriculum based or under the direction of a faculty researcher at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» or UF, collaborative or individual, or discipline based only or interdisciplinary.
The Research in Undergraduate Education Committee hosts a Research and Creative Scholarly Projects Festival every spring highlighting research done by Santa Fe Students. The 2026 Festival will be held on Monday, April 20, 4 - 7 p.m.

Partners
STEM Fest
Together with the Research in Undergraduate Education initiative, the Perry Center
hosts a three-day STEM Fest annually in November. Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» students and area
high schools are invited to display posters showcasing their accomplishments in the
STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering and math). Each evening the fest
features a guest speaker from a STEM discipline.
Honors Program
The Honors Program at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» fosters academic excellence in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»'s best,
brightest, and most motivated students.
Student Life
Student Life supplies the food, prize money and advertising for the RUE Festival.
