Ann Jalsa has been creating Art Nouveau and Victorian late. Hand crocheted jewelry for almost 30 years. She hunts for vintage antiques As she travels for Fine Art Festivals All over the country and national button conventions to find rare and beautiful relics from that period. Then she bales them in silver to create medallions and finishes the compositions with real pearls and gemstones. Some are more ornate, and some are extremely delicate, but our woven on a polymer nylon filament that creates great durability. She is happy to show her one of a kind creations to Gainesville, her hometown.

Arianna Leon Uberti "Ari Uberti" is a self-taught illustrator with over 10 years of experience, known for her vibrant colors, expressive characters, and joyful, whimsical style. Her work lives at the intersection of imagination and community, transforming blank spaces into lively worlds full of movement, story, and personality.From large scale murals to custom illustrations and branded artwork, Arianna creates pieces that feel playful yet intentional art that invites people in, sparks curiosity, and leaves a lasting smile. She is especially passionate about creating functional art that goes beyond the walls, designing visuals that can live in everyday life through merchandise, products, and shared experiences.

While I knew that I have always had a talent for art, I did not begin to really develop my talent until I was about 45 years old. I grew up in a paper mill town near Rumford, Maine. While in grade school my teachers would comment on my art work. During the first 40 years of my life I continued to live in Maine, raised a family and became an accountant. Just before moving to Summerfield, Florida in 1993 I took a drawing class at the Maine School of Art which I felt a connection to because my my mother had graduated from there many years ago. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this class so when I got settled in Florida I decided to try a painting class at the local college. I had to learn accounting, but art seemed to come naturally to me.

I enter my art into festivals along the East Coast and have won awards in many shows. I have not had formal training, learning from local classes and workshops, experimenting and reading, also watching other artists and joining art clubs.

I have tried many mediums for my art, but have always returned to acrylics. I stretch my own canvas so I can use the size that fits my painting and the kind of canvas I like. We go on many trips from Florida to Maine to get the photos that I work from.

I like to paint many subjects but have an attraction to flowers and nature. I have developed my own style of painting using colors and style that has an effect of making my paintings 鈥淧OP鈥�. I enjoy making people happy by taking them to a happy place on canvas.

Born in Tampa, Florida, Curtis Whitwam has spent his life immersed in the natural ecosystems of wild Florida.

His art work is mission driven, as a way to inspire you to see the beauty of the natural spaces that surround us and be moved to protect them.

Artistically, natural patterns are his focus. The shape of the roots, the branches of the trees, schools of fish, or swirls on the waters鈥� surface anchor a moment. This feeling of presence is expressed in his artwork through a painting technique he uses to execute the layers of color and value that create the resonance of a place or experience.

Throughout his career, he has expressed his creations through many mediums, watercolor being his current favorite. Curtis鈥� artwork has been recognized with awards from the Florida and American Watercolor Society as well as many awards at premier Fine Art Festivals including a Best in Show Award at the 2025 麻豆传媒映画 Fine Art Festival.

Native American flutes captured my heart in 2001. I've been making Native American style flutes since 2005. Please note. I am not an enrolled member of any Native American tribe and therefore describe flutes I make using the word 鈥渟tyle鈥� to explicitly indicate they are 鈥渕ade in the style of Native American flutes.鈥�

My objectives are straight forward. A flute must play well before any decorations are considered. These are well tuned and intentional musical instruments first and foremost. They can also be beautiful.

A list of the woods I've used to make flutes currently stands at 72. This list is deliberately compressed. As an example, the "Walnut" entry includes: normal; river-recovery walnut; walnut burl; Black Walnut; Claro Walnut; Claro quartersawn Walnut; English Walnut and location-specific types. All of these count as just 1 of the 72 wood types. When asked what my favorite flute wood is, the answer is brief ... "The kind I'm working with right now."

I enjoy the process of helping people find themselves through music they can make using a simple, wooden flute.

I am a Florida-based mixed media artist and the founder of Natureheart Clay Creations. My hand-crafted mosaic works are inspired by nature, wildlife, and themes of joy and connection. Drawing from a lifelong passion for the arts as a self-taught artist and retired educator, I create mosaics that celebrate simple beauty and serenity. My work reflects a unique appreciation for color, texture, and symbolic imagery.

I'm Drew Michael Marotte. I have always been an artist, in many different forms! Currently, I'm very passionate about my abstract art, where texture is king in my land of quirky creativity. All of my pieces are originals, and I have no shortage of ideas in my ADHD brain. It's always my hope that the depth of texture mixed with the playful nature of my pieces make people feel life's complex simplicity.

I am a resident of Gainesville Florida and a lover of nature, of travel and visual arts. I also love music, nature and art. As a FNGLA (Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association) certified horticulture professional, I can make seeds grow into beautiful plants. As a bird artist, I want my drawings to inspire tweets of joy, hope and beauty! Over the years, I have researched more than a 100 bird prints. Under the tutelage of Muralist/Printmaker/Printer, Turbado Marabou and 麻豆传媒映画 arts teachers, Jen Yu and Vincent Granela I have taken a love of art from hobby to profession. I found inspiration for my bird collection from various books of birds around the world.

Eric Lewis is a Gainesville, Florida鈥揵ased ceramic artist and instructor. A University of Florida graduate and local resident, he creates wheel-thrown functional pottery that emphasizes the relationship between form and surface. His work often combines assembled forms with slip and underglaze decoration that highlight structure and movement, introducing color and a restrained sense of play. He maintains an active studio practice while teaching ceramics within the Gainesville community.

As a self-taught artist, my technique is shaped by years of dedicated practice. My paintings frequently feature vibrant colors and the purposeful use of negative space, which help to highlight the essence of each scene. What makes my art unique is this blend of realism with a thoughtful composition that invites viewers to experience the subject in a fresh way.

Photography is my passion. I am self-taught, attending professional workshops when I can. I am a landscape photographer, capturing both natural and man-made scenes. Home is in Alachua, FL.

His art is preserved on museum-grade archival materials like ChromaLuxe, ensuring that these emotive, otherworldly glimpses of our world endure with archival brilliance and striking clarity."

A jewelry artist for more than 20 years, I design and handcraft unique pearl jewelry inspired by nature. Using sterling silver and gold-filled wire, leather cord, and silk thread, I wrap and weave gemstones, crystal, shell, and diverse types of pearls into unique, vibrant works of art. My favorite material is diverse colors and forms of pearls (keshi, flat, round, baroque, mab茅). I strive to juxtapose pearls and gemstones in contemporary designs reflecting what I find beautiful in nature. My work has an Asian aesthetic invoking a vitality that transcends the materials and brings beauty and harmony to the jewelry and to the wearer. I exhibit and sell my work at juried fine art and fine craft shows throughout Georgia, Alabama and Florida. I'm a people person, so I get to make a lot of new friends this way. Often, I have the privilege to work with customers on special orders, including wedding jewelry. To order my jewelry, customers can contact me via email, telephone, text, or through my website. Jesse Kraker is an award-winning fine art photographer who seeks to distill the essence of the natural world into moments of quiet reflection and subtle beauty. He is drawn towards scenes where tranquility, space, and light converge鈥攚hether in the gentle gradients of a seascape, the solitary presence of wildlife, or the minimalist expanse of land and water.

A distinctive aspect of his work is the use of motion blur techniques. By intentionally embracing movement within the frame, he captures the fleeting, dynamic qualities of seascapes and landscapes鈥攖ransforming ordinary moments into evocative, almost painterly impressions.

Based in Jacksonville Beach, Jesse鈥檚 work is focused on the coastal beauty of Northeast Florida. By emphasizing simplicity, and the ephemeral nature of light and movement, Jesse鈥檚 photography becomes a meditation on presence and connection. Each image is an invitation to slow down, observe, and rediscover the serenity and energy that exist all around us.

A current resident of Jacksonville, Florida, Joey Matula was born and raised in rural upstate NY. He started painting to help handle stress after finding out he had cancer.

Joey's art was first displayed at a gallery in Hudson, NY, and in 2020, days before the COVID lockdown, he opened Electric City Art Gallery in Schenectady NY. Now cancer free, Joey exudes gratitude and exuberance in life and art.

Joey's work, buoyant and optimistic, transmits an infectious joy and serenity, guiding viewers towards hope. Joey's style is Abstract Impressionism, and he finds inspiration in the works of Seurat, Bonnard, Miro and others. His art is featured in the movie Oh Canada, shown at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival and starring Richard Gere & Uma Thurman. In 2025, his work was featured in a solo exhibition at Jacksonville International Airport's Haskell Gallery.

Jorden is a self-taught sketch artist who developed his talent and love for drawing at the pure age of 3. Jorden is learning, growing and elevating his skills each and every day. He is a 13 year old 7th grader at Howard Bishop Middle School. He is an avid gamer and plays the alto saxophone in his free time. His determination to continue drawing and showcase his artwork was inspired by the late Mr. Ernest Lee.

Beading with seeds began as art therapy to support my special needs son鈥檚 attention, motor skills, and connection to nature. Over time, it became a passion and healing outlet for me as well. Each piece I create is natural, meaningful jewelry made from socially and environmentally sustainable seeds that support Amazon communities鈥攁rt that connects us to nature and contributes to positive change.

Karen Reed, aka Karebear, is a Gainesville-based fiber artist creating bold, tufted and hand-carved rugs since 2022. A University of Florida Interior Design graduate, she transforms fiber into touchable art that invites a rich, multisensory experience.

Kelly brings vibrant, intuitive expression to life, with themes of nature, spirit and personal transformation. She is a native Floridian with a background in horticulture and design.

This all started when I saw a painting and thought to myself that it has the same color palette as this Coke vanilla orange can. So I attempted to re-create this paining using Coca-Cola cans as my medium and it went so well I鈥檓 still doing it today.

L芒le Gerger is an award-winning visual artist and community arts leader based in Gainesville, Florida. Having lived on three continents and in five countries, Gerger brings a global perspective to her creative work.

Her professional background includes experience as an actress, director, and faculty member at a conservatory, shaping a multidisciplinary practice rooted in storytelling, collaboration, and public engagement.

Gerger holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from UCLA and a Master鈥檚 degree from the University of Florida, where her graduate studies explored the intersection of art, health, and business. Her work integrates artistic expression with empathy-driven leadership, focusing on resilience and transformation. "Be The Sun in Someone鈥檚 Darkness," the name of one of her paintings, is her golden thread.

Linda Tong was born in Thailand where the techniques of Lacquerware were passed down in her family for many generations. I was taught how to cut and roll a piece of cellophane paper into a pastry tube, which is filled with oil paint and then squeezed like a cake decorating tool. As my interest in painting grew, I took special classes in oil painting, which used painting knives and brushes. I mixed my new acquired techniques with those passed down from my family. I have been using this unique style of painting since I was very young to create my own Lacquerware designs.

Linda received a degree in Accounting while still in Thailand. I moved to the United State in 1981 to further my education and received a Master鈥檚 Degree in Computer Science. I married with Chat in 1985 and has two daughters. Chat does the wood carving while my daughters applies the lacquer to pieces of wood.

Marianna is an artist who has Down syndrome and autism. Her extraordinary personality is reflected in her watercolors which feature bright colors, hearts and repetition. Marianna's message is what makes you different is what makes you beautiful! Marianna is excited to be returning to the 麻豆传媒映画 Spring Arts Festival for her third year, where her art and message are celebrated. She has received an Award of Merit from the judges for the past two years. Marianna's art is also displayed at the Ronald McDonald House and Shine School in Gainesville, and her signature mugs were featured on a local coffee trailer.

I am a paper artist residing in Tallahassee, Florida. Origami is my hobby, my purpose, and a way for me to express myself. I grew up in Korea and have immersed myself in working with paper all of my life. I learned that with just paper and scissors, I could create an infinite amount of artwork by playing with the different colors and textures. I learned advanced Origami in 1995 and became a certified instructor and a member of the Korean Origami Association. I built an art collection including jewelry, 2-D wall art, and 3-D objects. I have experimented with a variety of methods: paper-folding, paper-twirling, paper-cutting, and paper-molding.

The medium of the artwork is chalk pastel and acrylic pen on wood panel.

Noel Smith is a self-taught artist based out of Gainesville,Florida. He works with acrylic paint on canvas and aerosol/acrylic when working on large scale murals. His style is a blend of landscape realism with surreal/ethereal colors and concepts. Bringing light and playfulness to sometimes dark and moody scenes.

Noel went through a traumatic spinal cord injury in early 2019 and through that experience found his new passion. He found it to be an amazing opportunity to take a dark time and turn his trauma into inspiring works of art. He spent the last couple of years traveling and offering his work at fine art festivals as well as mural work at music festivals and public sites.

My compositions are an expression of the mystery and beauty I find in nature. I look for poetry in the light and atmosphere in a scene. Painting for me is like meditation. It is an attention consuming process of observing and responding whether it's on location or in the studio. The result is a record of my reactions to what I see and feel about the reference, location, light, and atmosphere in paint. It's not a copy of the scene. There is a point, as the work evolves, when the painting becomes its own reference. The process is a dance between reaction and control while trying to capture the poetry I see, on site or in the studio.

Rob Sowers has been drawing and painting most of his life, although there have been many twists and turns. Originally from Southern Ohio, Rob grew up in the country working on local farms and spent free time hunting and fishing. After high school, Rob enlisted in the Army and for four years served in the 82nd Airborne Division as a paratrooper in the airborne infantry. After the Army, Rob started college and earned a B.A. in Aviation from Ohio State University and worked as a pilot for a small cargo company in Columbus, Ohio. Rob and his wife Rita moved to Florida in 1997 where he was active in the local art scene and produced and sold his work in the Orlando area and later earned an M.S. in Criminal Forensics from Florida Gulf Coast University. In 2016, Rob and his family relocated to High Springs, FL where he works in his private studio.

A familiar name to many over a period of nearly six decades, Rolly Ray Reel has been a familiar face and a consistent award winner in juried art festivals from Chicago, New York, Ohio and more recently, festivals throughout the state of Florida. His contemporary, surrealistic painting style has garnered many, many awards including numerous Best of Show awards and typically includes hard-edge lines and various geometrics.

The versatility of styles and subject matter in his work has distinguished itself in not only his current two-dimensional mixed media paintings but in drawing, oils, color intaglio etchings and his three dimensional found objects wall pieces as well.

Rolly is a native Floridian and currently resides in Maitland.

鈥淪amm loves to bring her whimsical, vibrant animal paintings to life with acrylics and mixed media on a variety of reclaimed surfaces that otherwise would have ended up in a landfill. Spreading the love for animals and helping the environment at the same time through art? It鈥檚 a win-win!鈥�

Knots in the Sky is a fiber-based studio creating soft sculptural forms designed to be held, lived with, and passed along. The work centers texture, restraint, and quiet character, balancing playfulness with considered design. Each piece is made in small runs, with attention to form, weight, and everyday durability.

Tracey Fletcher has always loved the topographical nature of thick painting styles, but they鈥檝e always been drawn to fiber as a medium. Weaving with yarn and other fibers allows them to create uniquely textured pieces of abstract art. They weave directly into upcycled frames, so each piece is unique to that frame and truly one of a kind. To ensure no yarn goes to waste, Tracey uses every last scrap in small functional yarn sculptures or hand-sewn scrap-stuffed catnip toys. They are beyond excited to be back at the 麻豆传媒映画 Spring Arts Festival to share the warmth and coziness woven art can bring to a home.

Treksalot is the brainchild of Michael Paul, a digital artist focused on bringing whimsical, fun, and cozy illustrations to your empty spaces. The creative process involves hand-sketching ideas on paper, scanning completed outlines into a computer and then finalizing the detailed linework, coloring and textures in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop. The designs are based on overseas adventures and focus on magical landscapes and friendly beasts.

Whitney Powell is a self taught sculptural basket artist.

I use the "coiling" basketry technique which allows me to create organic forms. I am very inspired by the process of metamorphosis.

Inspired by the beauty found in the natural world, my work is not an imitation of any real living thing, but rather life forms that might exist in some other worldly place. Microorganisms, fungi, seeds, cacti, and sea life have been observed in great detail which have inspired me to create these "organic possibilities".

Using a potter's wheel and various hand-building techniques, my work is produced solely by myself in my studio. My clay of choice is a low-fire red earthenware clay which is then finished using oxide stains, underglazes, and my signature crawl glaze to create a rich textural, colorful surface that is unique to my work.

I have a sincere passion to create objects with clay and this energy radiates from within me into the work I produce.
