"Just for Juniors" at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Feb. 21

"Just for Juniors" is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, in the Fine Arts Hall on the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Northwest Campus, 3000 NW 83rd St., Gainesville.
The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Admissions Office hosts this event annually for more than 300 juniors from Alachua and Bradford county high schools.
High school juniors can explore Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» learning possibilities by going on an educational scavenger hunt. They can enjoy presentations and tours, and get information about Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» programs and services.
"The event got started because we wanted to find a way to get juniors on campus so they could see for themselves how great Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» is and how much we have to offer," said Erin Rice, recruitment specialist.
"Just for Juniors" is free. There will be giveaways like T-shirts, goody bags and pizza. Students wishing to attend need to speak with their high school counselor.
