A selection of recent exhibitions at the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» Art Gallery. Most exhibitions are accompanied by an opening reception, an artist talk, and student studio visits.
Propagation: William S. Burroughs and David Bradshaw
A two-person exhibition pairing works by Beat Generation icon William S. Burroughs with those of his longtime collaborator David Bradshaw. The show explored the artists’ shared experiments in shotgun art, painting, and printmaking, and included an opening reception with a curator-led walkthrough.
2025 Annual Juried Student Art Show
The annual juried exhibition of work by Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» visual art students, with awards across painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and digital media. Pieces were selected by an outside juror, and award winners were recognized at a public opening reception.
Molly Kempson
A solo exhibition of recent paintings and mixed-media works by North Florida artist Molly Kempson. The exhibition was paired with an artist talk and a studio visit with Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» art students.
Fluxus in the Swamp
A multidisciplinary group exhibition exploring the legacy of the Fluxus art movement through a Florida lens. The show featured works by collaborating artists and a curator-led program, including a piano performance event whose documentation has since been presented at venues around the world.
2024 Annual Faculty Art Exhibition
The yearly showcase of original work by Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» visual art faculty across painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, ceramics, and digital media. The exhibition gave students and the public a chance to see the studio practice behind the classroom.
