Collaborative Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» conference receives AFC award

At last week's AFC Student Development Commission conference, Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» employees Darrius Demps and Aminah Harris were recognized as winners of the 2015 AFC Student Development Commission Exemplary Practice Award for their work on the Black Male Recruitment Conference, a collaboration between My Brothers Keeper and the Office of Admissions.
As winners of the award, the Commission provided them a $500 check, payable to the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» Foundation, to support student scholarships here at Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³». They will also be invited to present a full educational session on the Black Male Recruitment Conference at the 2015 AFC Conference, at which time they will receive an additional $500 award from the AFC.
