Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» Qualifies for Brain Bowl State Championships

Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» hosted the Brain Bowl Regional Championships on Friday, Feb. 12. The college competed with two teams at this academic quiz tournament that tests student knowledge in science, literature, history and the arts.
The Provost, Dr. Ed Bonahue, welcomed the visiting teams to Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³», praising their academic competitiveness. The Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»-A team placed 2nd with a record of 6W-1L, while the B team came in 5th place (3W-4L). The tournament was won by the A team from the College of Central Florida (CF-A), which went undefeated on Friday.
The Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»-A team will represent Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» at the Brain Bowl State Championships to be held April 14-16 at Pasco-Hernando State College in Spring Hill, FL, since the top two teams automatically qualify.
The Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» Brain Bowl team was reactivated this year, and hasn't competed at the Brain Bowl State Championships in several years. Go Saints!!
