May 24, 2005 – The Gainesville Sun reports Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»CC gets $300,000 donation, $500,000 federal grant needed to finish planetarium.
May 25, 2005 – The Thomas Hotel, see Thomas Center History for more information, is gaining new life as temporary classrooms for Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»JC, which has outgrown its present facilities at the former BJHS.
May 26, 1968 – The Gainesville Sun reports 20 members of the Afro-American Student Association of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»JC painted and planted grass during a cleanup project at a nursery at 408 NW 5 Ave.
May 28, 1992 – Dual Enrollment lets students go to high school and Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»CC at the same time.
