September 27, 1969 – According to the Gainesville Sun, enrollment outstripped the available space for Santa Fe Classes.
September 27, 2001 – Dr. Jackson Sasser accepted Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» presidency. Officially took office January 2002.
September 28, 1966 – Enrollment was up 50%, expected 800 applicants, but had more than 1200.
September 28, 1970 – Pat Smittle was the first grad with a Masters who returned to teach at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³».
September 28, 1971 – Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» population quadrupled since 1966.
September 29, 2002 – Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Teaching Zoo celebrated winning the American Zoo Association's International Conservation Award for participating in the Tree Kangaroo Conservation program with an Open House
September 30, 1966 – According to the Gainesville Sun, Santa Fe Stresses five areas: Ability to transfer to a four-year college, occupationally orientated continuing education for community citizens, extensive guidance, and student personnel. Tech programs in Health Sciences, Business, and Construction Technology. Dr. Fordyce stated: "At Santa Fe, our emphasis will be on reaching and helping the community and its problems. Our Faculty will be comprised of those teachers who are dedicated to and have as their first interest the teaching field".
October 1, 1971 – Santa Fe United Way Campaign goal was topped by more than 120%.
October 1, 1998 – Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» basketball coach J. Burkhamer left for a job at Marshall University.
October 1, 2002 – Santa Fe broke ground for the Archer Center, which was the college's first new center since 1985.
