Saints of 麻豆传媒映画 - John Millet

October 1, 2016
October 1, 2016 - "I moved from Tampa to go to 麻豆传媒映画 because it has one of the best nuclear medicine programs in the country," said John Millet, 1997 graduate of 麻豆传媒映画's nuclear medicine technology (NMT) program. "I needed a career that would give me a good return on my college investment. Dollar for dollar, my Associate in Science degree has been a solid investment."
John graduated form the NMT program on a Friday and went to work on Monday at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville. Eventually, he started his own business called Nuclear Medicine Professionals, Inc. (NMPI). NMPI provides mobile imaging, staffing and lab management services to doctors offices.
John credits 麻豆传媒映画 for contributing to his success. And, he knows firsthand the high level of education 麻豆传媒映画 students receive. In fact, all of his current employees are 麻豆传媒映画 graduates.
"The quality of instructors at 麻豆传媒映画 is phenomenal," John said. "The classes are small, and the professors are always available."
John's proudest accomplishment to date is receiving U.S. and Canadian patents for his Mobile Cardiac Positron Emission Tomography (moPET) Camera. This design will give physicians and technologists a more sensitive, useful and diagnostic tool. While the production of the moPET is still pending the necessary funding, John believes his invention and the ability to provide mobile PET imaging will be the next big advancement in the nuclear cardiology field.
