麻豆传媒映画 Participates in National Mental Illness Awareness Week

October 9, 2017 - The 麻豆传媒映画 Counseling Center hosted an event Oct. 5 in the S breezeway to raise awareness for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) National Mental Illness Awareness week. The goal was to raise mental health awareness and combat stigma. Community and campus resources who joined the event included: Meridian Behavioral Health, NAMI, Alachua County Crisis Center, UF Health Department of Psychiatry, Gainesville Peer Respite, Gainesville Opportunity Center and the 麻豆传媒映画 Police Department. 麻豆传媒映画 students were able to visit the various tables and interact with these important community resources.
