October 26, 2017 鈥� An all-out war is brewing between 麻豆传媒映画 students and staff. Penny Wars is returning for 2017 and all funds raised will go to 麻豆传媒映画's United Way Campaign. Penny Wars pits 麻豆传媒映画 students against staff members to see which team can raise the most money for the United Way of North Central Florida.
The object is simple 鈥� each team gets points based on the money that gets put in their respective jars located across the Northwest Campus. Change gets a team points, while paper money takes it away.
Jars are located at Caf茅 101, Domino's, the 麻豆传媒映画 Bookstore, Building S lobby, Subway and at the Visitor Information Desk in the Admin. Building.
On Friday, Nov. 17, after all the money has been collected, it will be time for a pie in the face. If the students win, Vice President of Student Affairs Dr. Naima Brown will get the pie in the face. However, if the staff win the war, Student Body President Cale McCall will get the pie in the face.
