Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» President Sasser to Focus on Faculty at Spring Convocation

December 15, 2017 – Spring convocation at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» will be Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Fine Arts Hall. Convocation is the official kickoff for each new term, and Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» President Jackson N. Sasser says this term's convocation will focus on the great work being done by the college's faculty.
"Faculty are the lifeblood of any good institution of higher education. Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» faculty are impeccably credentialed, dedicated, and student success oriented which resulted in the college being named number one in the nation. The January 5 convocation will celebrate these facts and nine Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» faculty members will demonstrate superior teaching concepts and challenge all of us to rise to an even higher level of service."
There will be light refreshments served in the lobby of the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Fine Arts Hall beginning at 8:30 a.m. All Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» faculty and staff are encouraged to attend convocation to get the new term started.
