Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Softball: SCF Takes Two from Santa Fe

February 10, 2018 – Gainesville, FL – The State College of Florida got the best of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» on Saturday afternoon in Gainesville, winning a pair of games 4-1 and 7-2.
In the first game the Saints took an early 1-0 lead but one bad inning in the fifth cost them four runs and the game.
Emily Yakel had the lone RBI for Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» in the first half of the double header. Kaylan Tucker pitched all seven innings in the circle for the Saints.
The Manatees took the lead early on in game two with a pair of runs in the first and never relinquished it, finishing off the win 7-2.
The victories move SCF to 10-2 on the year and the Saints fall to 8-5.
Santa Fe will be back at it on Sunday, February 11 against Eastern Florida State College at 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.
