March 27, 2018 – Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Police Sergeant Larry Cauthen recently graduated from the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP)
Cauthen, the senior sergeant at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»PD enrolled in the three-week professional development program starting in January. The sessions were held over a three month period in Gainesville
The IACP classes have an application process, are selective about who can attend, and bring nationally recognized instructors.
The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»PD places a high emphasis on training and professional development for all of its members year-round in an effort to conform to best practices and help Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» be as safe as possible.
