Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» Mascot Arrested on Northwest Campus

April 1, 2018 – Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» mascot Caesar Saint was arrested Sunday morning after being spotted on the Northwest Campus without wearing his leash.
An anonymous tip came into the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»PD via the Safe Santa Fe app shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday, April 1. Officers were led on an hourslong chase before finally apprehending the suspect in the Oak Grove around 11:30 this morning.
Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»PD Chief Ed Book said he was shocked and disappointed by the behavior of the beloved mascot. "Caesar is usually a very well behaved dog," Book said, "Once this mess is over, we plan to schedule obedience classes and some quality time with Beau and Marco, Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»'s therapy dogs, to help him get back on track."
Caesar Saint, who resides on Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»'s Northwest Campus often volunteers at events across campus. Sources close to the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» Administration, who wished to remain anonymous, said they are currently reassessing his future with the institution.
