Founded in 2016 by former Miami City Ballet Principal Dancers Jennifer Kronenberg and Carlos Guerra, DDTM reflects Miami's Latin flair in its professional collaborations with local and performing artists from abroad, its apprenticeship program for advanced pre-professional students and its youth outreach programs.

"I've known Jennifer and Carlos for a while and they are very fine artists," said Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Fine Arts department chair Alora Haynes. "Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami is what today's ballet company should look like! They are taking classical ballet training into the 21 century with new music, new ways of partnering, and changing, evolving traditions.
