Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Observes Anniversary of MSD Tragedy
February 14, 2019
February 14, 2019 – On this anniversary of an unspeakable tragedy, Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» stands with the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and the Parkland community. Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» is honoring those we lost with a day focused on service and love. It is also a day to recognize the recovery and strength of our staff, students and families.
Broward County Public Schools invites the entire district, community-at-large and beyond, to participate in "A Day of Service and Love" and to observe a moment of silence at 10:17 a.m. We welcome your participation and want to take some time to acknowledge those students that are at colleges and universities and were present and still a part of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas family.
Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» students struggling with this tragedy or other traumas can speak with someone in the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Counseling Center. Faculty and staff can use the college's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to find support services.
