Fall Convocation at the Fine Arts Hall is Scheduled for Monday

August 15, 2019 – Students will return for the start of fall term and classes will begin Tuesday. In advance of the new term, Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»'s fall convocation will be held in the Fine Arts Hall Monday, Aug. 19, 2019, starting at 9 a.m. Convocation is one of the most important events of the academic year as it sets the college on the course it will take for the fall term and beyond.
Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» President Dr. Jackson N. Sasser says that although this will be his final convocation to faculty and staff, it will not be a retrospective of his time at the college, but rather, it will be an opportunity to discuss the "venerable pillars of the college that anchor us."
All Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» faculty and staff who are able are encouraged to attend. Fall Convocation begins at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19, 2019, in the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Fine Arts Hall and is preceded by light refreshments beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the lobby.
