Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»'s Learning Commons Holds Open House Sept. 11

August 28, 2019 – The idea of a collaborative learning environment where students, faculty and staff come together in support of learning, has, after several months of renovation, now become a reality. The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» community is invited to celebrate this beautiful new space at the Learning Commons Open House, Wednesday, Sept. 11, from 1 – 3 p.m. the Learning Commons is equipped with new furniture, new technology and additional study spaces for students.
President Sasser will offer a brief welcome, followed by refreshments. The Learning Commons is designed to support the academic achievement of every Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» student by engaging students, faculty and staff in college-wide collaboration to promote learning, resilience, persistence and academic success. The Learning Commons offers students a single location for help with math, science, writing, business and other classes and programs offered at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³».
The Learning Commons and Library staff look forward to seeing you on September 11, 2019 from 1 – 3 p.m.
