September 23, 2019 - Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» President Dr. Jackson Sasser released the following statement concerning the death of former Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» student Kevin Walker.
Dear Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Family,
The sadness we suffered last week in the passing of a young man near our Fine Arts Hall deepened when we learned additional information. Former student Kevin Walker is a veteran.
As we interact with over 800 veterans at one of our sites today, I know we will all be aware and remain respectful. For all student/veterans, civilian students, and those of us who knew Kevin, please know we hold you in our thoughts today.
Our well-credentialed, expert and caring counselors at the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Counseling Center are prepared to receive our students who desire or need their services. In addition, the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available to serve all full-time and part-time employees.
