Severe Weather Alert for Thursday and Friday

April 22, 2020 – The National Weather Service – Jacksonville is reporting an enhanced risk of severe weather Thursday into Friday across North Central Florida. Santa Fe College's service district of Alachua and Bradford counties can expect between 2-3 inches of rain with areas of localized flooding. The storms are expected to arrive in the mid-evening hours of Thursday and remain through much of the day Friday. Storm squalls could bring damaging wind gusts, hail, heavy downpours and the possibility of tornadoes.
