#WhoCanYouCan Partners Support Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»'s Canned Food Drive

November 18, 2020 – Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»'s Sgt. Mark Barley and Christina Arnold were presented a $500 check from Campus USA Credit Union for the #WhoCanYouCan canned food drive. In addition to drop off boxes located across the Northwest Campus and many of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»'s centers in Alachua and Bradford counties, the college was able to partner with various businesses in the area to collect food and resources for food-insecure families in our community.
Even before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, about one in five people – and one in four children in our community were in need of food donations. All canned goods collected during this month-long food drive will go to the Gainesville Harvest Food Bank and Catholic Charities.
