Trenton Hightower Joins Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» as Director of Workforce Development

April 12, 2022 - Last month, Trenton Hightower joined the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» family as the college's new Director of Workforce Development. Before coming to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³», Trenton spent more than 25 years working in leadership at community colleges. He was a leader at Finger Lakes Community College in New York, an AVP/Dean at Frederick Community College in Maryland, and the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Workforce Development for all twenty-three community colleges in Virginia. Trenton was also the Vice President of Business Development for a proprietary company licensed by the North Carolina Community College System.
Trenton has a passion for workforce and is excited about his work at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³». His office is based in Blount Hall.
