Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Hosts Event for First Generation College Students

August 3, 2022 – On Thursday, Aug. 11, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» is hosting an event exclusively for first-generation students to help them become more acquainted with the resources, support and tools available at the college. First-generation college students are those students whose parents have not attained a bachelor's degree.
Prospective first-generation students of all ages are invited to attend First in My Family, an orientation style event on Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»'s Northwest Campus. During the event, students will have the opportunity connect with Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» staff and students, explore campus, and prepare for the upcoming semester.
