Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Softball: Saints Make an Impact in Home Opener

February 5, 2024 – The 2024 Saints Women's Softball season at home began with a doubleheader on Saturday. They hosted the Florida State College at Jacksonville BlueWave at the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Softball Field.
The first game began with the BlueWave snatching the lead in the first inning. The Saints fought back to tie the score in the fourth. A last-minute grand slam in the bottom of the seventh propelled the Saints to victory, winning 8-4.
The second game was not as nail-biting, but it was still thrilling for Saints' fans. This time, the Saints grabbed the early lead in the first two innings and would not let go. Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» won 10-4.
"It was good to see new people step up and come up big for us today," Saints Head Coach Savanah Webster said.
Up next: The Saints will be on the road against St. Johns River State College on Feb. 6.
