  • Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ opens the 2024-25 academic year with Convocation Aug. 16: The event starts with a reception and light breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in the Jackson N. Sasser Fine Arts Hall.
  • Guests aged 21 and over are invited to a special after-hours event at Brew at the Zoo: The event happens at the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Teaching Zoo on Saturday, Aug. 24, from 4 to 7 p.m.
  • The Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Achieve program seeks new mentors: Only full-time employees can serve as mentors.
  • Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ welcomes Kim Liechty as its new Bookstore Manager: Liechty succeeds Mary Jane Mahoney who retired in June.
  • The Heritage Foods Symposium takes place Aug. 23: A day of free workshops and presentations will be held at the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Charles L. Blount Center, focusing on increasing access and expanding opportunities for small farms, farmers markets, gardens, and community education in Florida.
  • Several Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ offices will stay open evenings the week before and the first week of classes: Students may access the services provided by these offices in person, over the phone or using the various digital lobbies.
  • Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ faculty and staff can schedule headshots: Pick a date and time from the list that works best.
