Important changes to paying for tuition and fees

July 21, 2026
There are two important changes to when and how students pay their tuition and fees.
Payment deadlines have reverted to being due one week prior to classes beginning. In Fall 2026, classes begin Monday, August 17, so tuition and fees are due Monday, August 10.
Students who miss the August 10 payment deadline may be dropped from their classes and be required to re-register and pay for classes by August 17.
Historically, payment has been due prior to classes beginning; the college shifted deadlines in recent semesters to align with timelines related to the launch of the new FAFSA, the federal financial aid application.
Now that FAFSA has resumed standard timelines, the college is reverting to its standard payment deadlines.
For students, the early deadline helps open seats before classes begin; it also helps ensure that any payment or financial aid issues can be resolved before the start of classes.
Card payments
The second change involves card payments.
The Cashier鈥檚 Office on the Northwest Campus can no longer accept card payments for tuition and fees at the window.
Card payments can be made easily online through eSantaFe. For a time, a computer will be available in the Cashier鈥檚 Office in the Administration Building on the Northwest Campus and help will be made available to students who are learning how to pay online.
Students also can make eCheck payments from their bank account online to avoid credit card processing fees.
