Welcome to the inaugural edition of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»â€™s Report to the Community. This Spring edition begins a biannual report, each Spring and Fall, with updates on college programs, initiatives, advancements, and, of course, our students, alumni, employees and champions.
In this issue, we celebrate the college’s growth with new facilities and programs. You’ll meet our remarkable Pillars of Service Student of Promise, and you’ll see the impact Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» made on an entire Gainesville family.
It is through the dedication of our faculty and staff that Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» enjoys continuous regional, national and local recognition, and makes a profound positive impact on our community. Our alumni alone have a $250.8 million economic impact in our district and the college supports more than 4,800 jobs.
We also were pleased to be named this year as the Community’s Choice Winner for Best Place to Work.
More important, our graduates are prepared for whatever comes next. Whether that means transferring to a university, entering the workforce, building new skills, or enhancing existing ones to meet the demands of an ever-evolving economy.
