Fire Safety
Fire Extinguishers
Fire extinguishers are available throughout all buildings on every Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» campus. Employees are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the fire extinguishers in your work area and how to use them. Extinguishing a fire is optional if you know how to use a fire extinguisher, but never compromise your safety to attempt to extinguish a fire, and remember that fire extinguishers are only to be used on incipient (small) fires. Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»PD officers and Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Building Safety Ambassadors are designated and trained to use fire extinguishers.
